Go every year. Fantastic. Thousands of actors and assorted animals. I love the country market scenes best.
The English always lose. But to be fair they make it very clear that Bordeaux was on the English side. They really mourn General Talbot (and the catastrophic loss of wine trade the French takeover caused). Poignant right now. Because its the sudden contraction of the French trade to do with new drinking or non-drinking fads and endless directives from Paris and Brussels that is crippling the small wine producers here once again.
The English (Scots, Welsh, Irish) wine drinkers must come to the rescue again.
