Foodies, both, I was nervous but the 23 year old chef (Ann-Marie's niece who trained in Indonesia) produced a very reasonably-priced feast. We drank Laithwaites Champagne and Presbytere '01 which they sell there. You pick your bottles from the piles of boxes around the place. Prices are the same as at the Chateaux for take out. If you drink it there they add €6 a bottle.
The place has been busy since it opened. It’s a gorgeous building, cool in both senses and affordable. Best selection of Cotes de Castillons (Cotes de Bordeaux - Castillon) on the world. Avoid St Emilion's crowds and come here.) She's doing mixed taster cases too.
