To St Emilion in evening (crowds gone!) to meet group from work. From Theale and Shops.

They'd done Giscours, du Tertre and Beychevelle that day but were downing large beers when I found them. Dinner for 30 alfresco out the back of 'L'Envers de Decor'. Left early. They went on till 3! Ah! Youth!


Following morning they were all at the Chai 9.30 prompt if blear-eyed. It was me didn't make it. Ah! Age! And being on hols really.

Did them the La Clariere tour though, then walked them down through the vineyards and woods to our place by the church. BBQ by Brigitte and Gilles, visit the 'Presbytere' cellar, a quick look at Henry's Chai and off.
