Will's beer arrives

Our rebel son's beer is wonderful. It was really strange to be in France and yet be sinking a glass of good, proper draught beer. 

Waited four years for this. So proud I went short, what with going round the whole restaurant pressing tastes on bemused French people. "Now this, Monsieur, is what real draught beer tastes like! None of your fizzy, freezing 'Pression'...beer where you can really taste the hops." 

Thank you Rob for smuggling it over in plastic bottles in you suitcase. Real 'live' ale could've been a real live aviation problem in turbulence!

And well done Will. Dad is v. happy.

It's called 'Loose Cannon' which is Will's rugby nickname; the mildest, calmest of chaps always, always ... except when, very rarely, something sets him off. Then ... .he usually ends up in hospital! 

At the moment he's very happy, though. He is selling his beer. And Abingdon seems to like it.  Ste Colombe, too.
