Woke up and had lost our car. Stuck sore head out into bright sun, lovely vineyards and a couple having breakfast. Great idea! And "Pas de Problem Monsieur"!
I fell completely for the Chateau des Sallettes Hotel as we had cuppa and croissant in the silent sunshine with view. Others emerged blinking and every time the Hotel scurried about settling up tables and being sweet. I really like this place.
Found car! Only a mile away. Needed the walk.
Goodbyes. Into Gaillac for lunch. And well, well, they have the Fête des Vins on! I never shirk my work, so in we go.
There's a band! All the Gaillac producers are here. A lot of good wine. I shall mention this to Justin MW and Co. Gaillac needs another look.
Then drop Henry and Kaye at airport and return to base.
After dinner we get the telescope up on the terrace and look at Venus, Mars and Jupiter all together in the west.
