He was impressed. And it's never been easy to impress my youngest.
We were early so wandered around a bit. It really is quite a view across the river to the City and The Tower. And everywhere around you is somewhere to eat or buy food. The Arch which opened in February is now quite busy; will likely be our top selling shop by Christmas. So many reasons to catch that tube to London Bridge.
The tasting? Great. Lovely people. Laughed at most of my jokes. Seemed to love the Moldovan Sauvignon, the Alsace Riesling (Yes! People are beginning to admit they actually like Riesling - fine Riesling - again, once they discover its not light years at all like Liebfraumilch).
The Hunters NZ Gewurztraminer was a revelation to many. Particularly when I assured them that although they might think it sweet, it isn't!
The reds - my Presbytere seemed to get top marks. Which really made my day. It is the best wine in the world, you know!
