Today the buyers team came over for a couple of day get-together.

I've never known them do this before. And they were going to experience harvesting 'from the other side'. But they started well. Their flight got them here just in time for lunch... one of Bernadette's harvest lunches. Roast beef it was. What with all us plus the Chai team and buyers it was a packed hall.

Then the buyers were led off to find out what it is like to pick grapes. Then they did some sorting, then they went and had blending classes from Jean-Marc and Mark. In the evening J-MS and the others did everyone a meal in the Dordogne Chai. No caterers. All their own work. Merguez and steak cooked on a braize. Memorable. Or would be if I could remember.
